When The Improbable Is True, Chapter 3Chapter 3: Of Monsters and DetectivesWhen The Improbable Is True, Chapter 3 by DragonHaven42
A box arrived at 221b and John hurried down to get it. He carried it, hands shaking, to the kitchen. He shuffled through it until he pulled out a bag of blood and plunged his fangs into it greedily. Sherlock often ordered organs and John had volunteered to do it for him. Now he had fresh healthy blood for the first time in a long time. He put down the empty bag and put the organs away before grabbing a second one.
He was growing fond of the human, he mused. He had taken up a personal oath to protect the detective, but nothing more. Humans died so quickly, so easily.
Despite this casual relationship some of his scent lingered on the detective. It annoyed the hound. It was quite amusing to watch the DI try to stand close to the detective at crime scenes only for Sherlock to move closer to him.
Mike had asked if he had claimed Sherlock. Claimed Sherlock Holmes, John laughed to himself. It was because of that run in with a siren, he was sure. He felt a
Myaw Myaw - Day 135Jinx was a very happy kitty that day.Myaw Myaw - Day 135 by 3Ravens98
It was a beautifully rainy day and she had simply hopped around the back garden with all her kitty friends from the neighbouring houses and just had fun. They ran in the mud, played wrestling, attacked some flowers and the occasional bug that dared to venture out into the cloudy weather. But sadly she had to go in when her parents came home and called her in. She nuzzled her friends goodbye and strutted inside the house.
If cats could smile, she would have a big old stupid grin on her fluffy face. She was so sleepy too. She could just fall asleep on her Mama's foot.
She waddled up to Mama and patted her socked feet. She meowed affectionately and looked up at Mama with big sparkly eyes.
But Mama was frowning.
Jinx didn't understand why Mama was frowning until she looked back at the door. She noticed a little track of muddy paw prints coming from it. Strange. Jinx wondered who could have possibly done. Then she noticed that the paw prints were leadin
The Skeleton Detective - Day 130“I really don't think you're helping my situation!” Atari squeaked. The Skeleton Detective - Day 130 by 3Ravens98
“Don't worry.” The Skeleton said. “I'm sure I've almost got this half figured out.”
“Half!?” Atari squealed. The Skeleton pulled a lever and the mechanism dropped Atari five feet lower, closer to the dark abyss full of screams from some horrendous, petrifying beast that lurked in its depths.
Atari didn't know why this was happening. All he remembered was coming home and falling into this amalgamation of ropes, coils, levers the pit. He wasn't sure how the Skeleton in the suit managed to figure out where he was either. Did he set this up? “Who are you?! Do you have any clue what you're doing!?”
The Skeleton cocked its wide-brimmed hat back and looked at him with a pair of eye sockets. It was quite unsettling. “I am Skulduggery Pleasant.” He replied, inspecting the machine of wires. “And, honestly, no, I don't. But I'll figure something out. I'
Frankie's First Funeral - Day 117It was a sad, sad day in the Schmidt household today. Around the upstairs bathroom the whole family . . . well, Samuel Schmidt and his daughter, Frankie, had gathered. Mabel was on a business trip and Conor was studying for his finals next week. Anyway, Sam and his daughter were standing around the toilet with solemn faces. Sam dropped the goldfish, who had once fondly been known as 'Swimmy', into the clear water and pulled down the handle. The water swirled around and around and around before dragging the poor little fishie's corpse down into the great beyond, along with a whole bowl of toilet water.Frankie's First Funeral - Day 117 by 3Ravens98
Frankie sighed. Her dad put a hand on her shoulder. “Its okay, sweetie.” He said gently. “He's in a better place now.”
Frankie looked up at him with an eyebrow raised. “Where's he going?”
“D'uh . . .” Sam murmured. “He's, going to the, pet, paradise.”
“Its the, uh, place where all nice pets go whe
This Is Why I Can't Have Nice Things - Day 114Cynthia did not want to go out tonight. She didn't want to work or talk or anything like that. She had been working her ass off all week, busting her butt hour after hour and, and she wanted a break. No, she deserved a break! She risked her life to save people from monsters for a living! She deserved a day or two to her own devices! This Is Why I Can't Have Nice Things - Day 114 by 3Ravens98
That's why she took the next week off.
She knew exactly what she wanted to do. That new Avenger's movie was coming out next week. She was so hyped but she knew absolutely nothing about what was going on plot-wise. She'd missed Agents of Shield, she'd missed all the other new films, she'd even missed Daredevil! She was going to spend the week, catching up.
All the phase one films were on Netflix, or at least she thought. But just in case, she'd went out and bought all the films. All twenty-nine hours condensed into ten films. And as well as that, she had Daredevil and Agents of Shield on Netflix, as well as a torrented copy of Agent Carter on her lapto
